Southwest Airlines aims to revolutionize the travel experience by offering a comprehensive, one-stop solution for all travelers' destination needs. The project involves redesigning the user interface (Ul) of Southwest Airlines' digital platform to seamlessly integrate functionalities from popular services like Yelp, TripAdvisor, and others.This integration will enable users to effortlessly plan, book, and enjoy their entire travel experience without the hassle of switching between multiple apps.

I handled all UI design and interactions for this project. This included creating site maps, user journeys, interactive interfaces, and all visual design decisions. I also had a hand in user research especially diving into travel destination needs, and wants from users

This scattered approach leads to frustration and wasted time. The lack of integration between travel and destination services further complicates the process. By redesigning Southwest Airlines' interface and seamlessly integrating services like Yelp and TripAdvisor, this project aims to simplify travel planning, providing travelers with a one-stop solution for all their needs."

Our Solution

Create a unified platform within the Southwest Airlines app where users can seamlessly access and book flights, accommodations, activities, dining options, and other travel-related services. This platform would integrate functionalities from Yelp, TripAdvisor, and other relevant services, allowing users to browse, book, and manage all aspects of their trip in one place.

Additionally, personalized recommendations based on user preferences and past behavior could enhance the user experience, making it easier for travelers to discover and enjoy new destinations. Efficient booking processes and intuitive navigation would further streamline the experience, ensuring a hassle-free journey from start to finish.
